We enjoyed our Labour Day week end stay on the Mira. Loved the walk in sites. It would be benifical if there were garbage cans at the washrooms for the walk in area. Great place to spend time on the water or bike and hike!

Terrible stay. This campground obviously has campers moved in for the summer, complete with trashy bouncy houses, plastic lantern lighting and late night karaoke. Don't stay here with your family if you're looking for a family friendly environment. We were kept awake till 4:30 a.m....More

We had booked a camping spot via online at the Mira River Provincial Park. When we arrived in the morning, there was no one there. That was strange. We went to our site and we found a neighbor. The restrooms and showers were open. The...More

This campground has something for everyone. The first loop is more for serviced sites, has a main washroom, and is paved which is great for children and biking. The second loop has more private undercover lots. Many of the lots are facing the river. Only...More

Stayed here one night after a day at Fortress of Louisbourg and would like to return again. At first glance, the layout of the sites resembles a typical RV park with a big open field and sites scattered around a loop. Upon closer inspection, you...More

We hit 6 different campgrounds in 18 days for our Maritime tour, and this was our favorite. We had 2 tents and a kitchen tent and still had lots of room. The facilities were wonderful Nice and bright with huge showers. The campground was pretty...More

A very nice provincial campground. Stayed in no power section. Good sized sites. Power pull through so big enough for big rigs. Was very impressed with the considerate use of generators by our neighbours unlike our Newfoundland PP experiences. Easy access to Louisburg and Sydney....More

Well laid out park, with maximum use of waterfront campsites. A good mix of sites for all tenters and RVs. Staff were excellent. Popular beach area great for swimming, and launching canoes/kayaks. We spent 9 days total, and loved it. Close proximity to Fortress Louisbourg...More
