We divided the scenic drive: one day from St Ann's to White Point and the next day from Margaree Harbour to Pleasant Bay. I've previously written about St Ann's to White Point, so I won't repeat myself here. Without a doubt this was our preferred...More

The Cabot trail is an amazing drive and experience. While there is currently some roadwork being done, the experience is still great. I would suggest giving yourself at least a day (if not more) to allow you to stop along the way to soak in...More

Have your camera ready. You will want to stop at every scenic stop on the road. It is breathtakingly beautiful. If you have any interest in Scottish clans and tartans, stop in at the tartan store.

It's really hard to describe the Cabot Trail in a limited number of words. The drive itself is spectacular, characterized by many scenic look-offs, mountain vistas, ocean scenes, quaint fishing villages, and much more. If you like to drive, the tight, mountainous route is a...More

Drove the Cabot Trail alone with my daughter. Not gonna lie, I was scared driving. Would have rather been a passenger. The views are breathtaking. This is a must for everyone's bucket list!

Stopping and viewing any point along Cabot trail gives you a sense of place in our huge country. The traditional feeling of regionalism was replaced with a new and better one yet to be named. If you enjoy beaches and being able to get to...More

The drive is spectacular, a must see, not for a fearful driver. Many look out spots which is great for taking photos and just enjoying the view,

We had a wonderful day driving around the entire Cabot Trail in the counter-clockwise direction. We left Baddeck at 7 a.m. and arrived in Cheticamp at 1:30 p.m. Lots of stops along the way for pictures and there were a couple of short delays for...More

I would like to stay in Baddeck, a small cute town where Alexander Bell lived. Google it. I love it. Wish you have a fantastic trip in Canada's East Coast. Sorry about the late reply.
