After driving for miles ,almost a day, through wilderness, we came upon a beautiful city,Yellowknife! People come from all over so are very friendly and are one big happy family! There are 2 sets of falls in this great northern park. The first(short) hike is by the bridge and is about a 10 - 15 hike in and has a small wooden walkway to get close to the falls to get some great pictures and memories. There is an outhouse by the entrance. Depending on when you go it is... More

We did the Cameron Falls Hike end of December. Takes a bit longer as covered in snow. It was beautiful though and looked like you were hiking in a postcard of a Winter Wonderland. There are markers above the snow to help keep you on the trail. A few spots where need to kinda grab some trees as there are... More

Path is marked and easy to navigate. Uneven parts at times. Usually busy on weekends. Great way to get out of the city and get some exercise.

Beginning of the Cameron Rive Trail is located on km 47 of the Ingraham Trail by Hidden lake territorial park. Parking lot is available there. Most of the hike leads over stones and rocks, but it´s not too difficult to get to the waterfalls. Even so, I’d recommend to wear some other shoes than sandals. The view of waterfalls from... More

Beautiful park located about 3/4's of the way down the Ingraham Trail. Ample parking with outhouse (bring paper in case it is empty). Starting portion of trail very easy but becomes more difficult with incline over rock and terrain. We attempted to go before with parents but trail proved to challenging due to their age. Small children also will have... More

I am not sure why you need a tour to this place if you have a rental car. We drove to the trail head and hiked up to the waterfall. It is a busy trail through boreal forest and granite hills. Wildlife tends to stay way (though not always). The waterfalls at the end are a nice reward. That said,... More

Short distance to drive out of Yellowknife. About 2 km round trip over rocks and well marked trail, some stairs, some biardwalk to beautiful 17 metre falls, river and canyon. .Gorgeous scenery! I also appreciated the benches to sit on at the top to enjoy the view and a snack. Fun to go with our grandchildren and appreciate their boundless... More

You will access it from Hidden Lake, about 50 minutes drive on Ingraham Trail. The hike to the waterfall is about 25 minutes from parking lot. It is not a very easy hike, a lot of rocks and steep steps, do wear proper shoes. Once you reach to Cameron Fall, the view is breathtaking. It would be better to do... More

We drove there in our rental car and it was well worth it. The hike was intermediate in terms of difficulty and the scenery was great. One can get right next to the fall and I even saw people having a picnic on the rocks at the bottom near the fall. I would however think twice if I have to... More
