The statue is powerful. The details about Terry Fox, his life, his struggle, his legacy---are all at the site, and it is all very inspiring.

It was good to see him memorialized having followed his trip. We saw the memorial in Thunder Bay and so admired both he and his Mom for carrying on his dream

While the intent is good the addition of extended harbour dock be between the water and the monument gives it a forgotten feel. Since Terry started by touching/collecting the Atlantic water before his marathon that opportunity should still exist. It does not.

I commend the city for having that lovely area and statue as a tribute to a Canadian hero. Very touching to visit and very emotional. Wish there were more people like Terry Fox and his contributions to cancer research continue to this day.

Bucket list was to see where Terry Fox started his marathon of hope. Wonderful that we visited this while 2 cyclists were finishing their cross canada trek. Terry was such an inspiration, and his legacy lives on.

It is wide open to the public 24/7, as it is outdoors. Might require a flashlight in the dark to read signage.
