We had heard constantly that you need to go to George street if you go to St.John's. It was a really cool street with dozens of different pubs, nightclubs, bars and restaurants. However, this weekend that we were there was not a good time to...More

Looking to party or visit a few good bars? Visit George St. while you're here and you won't regret it. There are a few (I believe) pub crawls you can join, that include activities along the way.

Money lost - Abba Inn/Gower - not to be trusted. Booking.com will not work with again. Love St John's but go with an AirBnB experience.

Lots of pub choices... expect to pay cover everywhere around $5-10 a person depending. There is live music everywhere but honestly the best spot is the strip club at the end of the street. It is the best strip club atmosphere I have ever experienced!...More

It’s a short street but full of bars. Gonna have to arrange a second holiday to visit the ones we missed. 😀

Excellent night down on George street. Went to a screech in at Christians. Caught a live band at O'Reillys and danced the night away. There was something going on everywhere. Until next time ... Thanks

It is a very short street with a handful of bars. Early Aug would be busy with tourists and late Aug busy with university students returning to school.

Depends on what you are looking for. There are bars that cater to younger crowds and there are those that cater to older clientele. There are also bars that serve food and those that do not
