The movie that introduces the history of Signal Hill in the Visitors Centre is a must see. The day we visited it was very, very windy so we couldn't explore all of the trails. There is a very interesting display on Marconi's first Trans-Atlantic wireless...More

The main road is currently under construction, but well worth the aggravation. You can see for miles once at the Cabot Tower, lots of parking and a nice little gift shop with reasonable prices. Very educational, with readily available information and statistics. A piece of...More

I went up on the hill and it is amazing! Beautiful view and amazing walking trails. It was very windy when I went but it was fun. Incredible view of St. John's from the hill. A must for anyone visiting.

This was quite the experience! If you want to see all of St. John's from a bird's view, this is the place to go. Got a great sweatshirt here, also, in their little gift shop.

It is a beautiful area and site with amazing views of the city. It can get extremely windy, one of us had to wait in the car with our infant. Unfortunately, we weren't able to do some of the hikes but hear they are great....More

The hike up the back of Signal Hill through what is called the Battery is difficult but beautiful. But, at times the path is quite narrow and the cliffs are steep. If you are afraid of heights, walking up the road may be a more...More

This is a must-see location. Interesting history of Signal Hill is shown in this small museum. But the real reason you want to go there is to see the breathtaking view of the city on one side and the Ocean in the other.

As far as I'm concerned, Signal Hill is a must for the view. The Rooms was good, but exhausting to see it all and if you're not into museums, don't go if you only have 4 days. We took an O'Brien's Bay Bulls boat tour and... More

The tattoo is only on certain days and times. It wasn't on when I was visiting but I would look on their website. I would say no seating - it's in a field. I doubt there are reservations.
