This is a historical monument. Located in a very scenic place, offering fantastic views and a great place to hike. I haven't been to a place which is so unique offering so many features as Signal Hill. A must see. Spend a day and go...More

A Beautiful Site to visit, the views are amazing and the story of it all is great to read. The old Cannons are still on site.

We visited on the first day of our trip to Newfoundland and were greated with wind, rain, and for us cold, which was nice for folks fleeing 100 degree farenheit weather in Houston :) Unfortunately the military tattoo cancelled due to rain effect on drums...More

No trip to St. John's is complete without a trip to Signal Hill. The view of the city is awesome, especially at night. It's worth visiting day and night time. Prepare yourself for fog, wind, rain, but you may be pleasantly surprised by the sun!...More

I travelled to signal hill a few times. I even climbed up it from the battery. Such an amazing hike. Hope you get a good day because the city views are amazing. Bring your camera. If it's fogging or raining your jacket.

As far as I'm concerned, Signal Hill is a must for the view. The Rooms was good, but exhausting to see it all and if you're not into museums, don't go if you only have 4 days. We took an O'Brien's Bay Bulls boat tour and... More

The tattoo is only on certain days and times. It wasn't on when I was visiting but I would look on their website. I would say no seating - it's in a field. I doubt there are reservations.
