It was a bit tricky to find the start of the trail as there were roadworks and bridge works, but we eventually found it and it was worth the effort. We were there end of September and the trees were just starting to change colour....More
This is a gem in the middle of the city and well worth the time. Scenery is beautiful and trails extremely well maintained. Fairly easy walk with some steps and a few slopes, but very manageable. Not t be missed while in town.

Corner Brook is a 4 hour drive from Gander. There is an airport in Deer Lake (40 minutes drive outside Corner Brook) so I would assume there are connecting flights between the two towns. A less expensive option would be a car rental, and besides you'll see more of the lovely west coast of Newfoundland!
