Overview
More
The Dark Tickle Company makes jams, sauces, teas, vinegars, drinks, and chocolates from unique wild berries. The berries are picked by hand, and are carefully processed without additives for the high-quality, distinctiveness and deliciousness. Some of the berries they use include the bakeapple (cloudberry), partridgeberry (lingonberry), crowberry, squashberry and wild blueberry. As part of the Atlantic ÉCONOMUSÉE Network, visitors can explore the whole production from start to finish.

While I actually love fried food--once a month--the cafe at Dark Tickle serves as the perfect break from such fare. Surrounded by historical displays of a French expedition to the area, the dining area is as tasteful as the delicious sandwiches and soup. Even better...More

The gift shop, and the treats were hard to choose from. After a presentation on berries, by the owner was enjoyed by everyone. We were introduced to his two Newfoundland dogs who seemed to like all the attention the tour group could give.
