This used to be a nice area. But there has been so much development in the area, it's affecting the water quality. The water quality at the beach was rated "Poor" on most of the days during our visit. That means it was unsafe to go in the water. The main attraction in this area is the beach, so if... More

I was heading from Prince Edward Island to Quebec City, and just passing by that nice town, I had a pleasant time during 5 hours spending there. The beach has an amazing and well maintained area with friendly staff. The weather is fantastic. Just swim, relax, and take a sun bath. The restaurant's service is very good and fast. The staff... We love Parlee beach. Nice, clean beach. Not too crowded, excellent for all ages. Waters can be nice and warm depending of time of summer you are there. Lots of cottages around for rent. And lobster is everywhere! If you are there , don't miss The sun set at the dwarf . Awesome!

We explored the beach on a September afternoon. No problem finding parking. Plenty of room on the beautiful white beach, and very few people around. Sounds like the perfect time to visit the beach from someone who isn't really into laying around on the beach in the sun. If you have only visited Parlee Beach in the summer you should... More

On the one day that we were able to visit Parlee Beach, the wind was gusting incredibly. Other than the blown sand stinging our faces, we were in awe of just how beautiful the beach was. The tide was way out and we had a lot of beach on which to stroll. Although it was on the cool side and... More

Travelled to Shediac for the September long weekend. Thankfully we had beautiful weather and were able to spend our long-awaited day at Parlee Beach. Park and beach were not excessively busy. A little shocked that there was an admission booth at a beach, but pleasantly surprised there was free admission for military members. Beach was beautiful. Clean sand, clean shower... More

This is a beautiful beach on the Northumberland Strait. I visited this in the middle of September and the water was wonderful and the beach almost empty. The local restaurant was closed for the season, but just pack a lunch and enjoy the view and water!
