I am surprised to see so few are aware of the controversies of Parlee Beach water contamination. There is ongoing drama and the testing of the conditions of water is inconsistent and inadequate. I am from Nova Scotia and therefore do not follow this as...More

Very nice and clean beach. Not busy at this time of year so it is very relaxing to walk in the sand. The area is very well kept.

Outstanding beach! Clean with amenities for changing and showering (for a small fee of 50 cents). Smooth sand bottomed beach and very shallow at low tide making this an excellent beach for young children.

This beach is nice and the sand is great. Not too many rocks. The only problem for us was the water conditions werent good for swimming but we did stroll in the water. The beach is nice and clean.

Great for a walk at low tide. Lots of sand bars and tidal pools to explore. Beach goes on for miles. Be sure to remember which path you came in on.

After our light lunch, we took a drive to Parlee Beach Provincial Park. A nice drive amongst the forest like greenery, on a winding road. Eventually you get to the beach, which is just glorious. There are places for kids to play and run. A...More
