The viewpoint at Cape Spencer is great. You can overlook the Bay of Fundy and also get to see the lighthouse. However, the lighthouse does have a lot of graffiti on it.

This was a scenic stop on our tour of St. John. It's very little hike down to the lighthouse but might be difficult to navigate for some people. It is not paved and was a bit muddy. The view of the water from the lighthouse...More

This is a place needing desperate attention! Garbage bins need to be provided. Focus and money on this property would make the dividends worthwhile. A treasured spot of seascape beauty needs to be enhanced and not stripped and destroyed. This place shouts for some loving...More

My wife grew up on this lonely point. Her Father was the Lighthouse Keeper. We love returning to this spot remembering the personal sacrifice a family would make to guide others safely home. Every lighthouse is a beautiful sight to those whose lives depended on...More

We made the trip out to this lighthouse and were totally disappointed. GPS had trouble locating it. Tried again using my iPhone and succeeded. Not what we expected. There is graffiti all over and getting a good photo was impossible

Nice view of the ocean from this point but the cliffs are unstable so you have to watch out where you walk. You can see all you will be able to see in a short visit of an hour, not more. Nice spot to see...More

Great Sunday drive to see Nova Scotia. If you look close on a clear day you can see the windmills over to the right of Digby. There are porpoise rising and blowing their air off the point. There is a path to follow but be...More

This lighthouse is at a very remote setting on a long, narrow, winding road. I visited as a tourist from the U.S. but surmised from several road signs that the lighthouse is for sale, and that many local people want to save it. It is...More

You would need to rent a car to view this lighthouse, but if you did rent a car you could quite possibly visit about 10 of them in the area in a matter of a few hours. We actually have a route that follows the coastal... More
