The outside part is currently being renovated, but we got to visit the inside and wow! Really nice cathedral. The glasswork is stunning and the priest was very welcoming. Needs some renovations inside too though...

Undergoing extensive renovations but still a must see in Saint John. It celebrates it's 130th anniversary of the dedication and consecration on July 16, 2015hritmas Eve 2015 the Cathedral will celebrate the 160th anniversary of it's first mass.

The Cathedral is an imposing stone testament to the strength of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saint John and Christian regional character. It is embarking on a needed major restoration that suits its stature.
