We stopped here while on a bus tour. This is a fort that had never been used to protect from hostile visitors. It was later used to store munitions. At this stop you can see a brief file of its history as well as a...More

Very interesting story behind this fort. Even though the upper portion is showing some wear, the history and the lower portion is really cool. If your in town it's an easy trip up to see it.

We visited here and saw the tower. This stop didn't take long, not a whole lot to see. A lady fired a musket here.

The tower was closed due to reconstruction, but the view from up there was great. Built by the British it is in a strategic position.

Carleton Martello Tower is a nice spot to view the bay from, but the tower is under renovations, so the tower itself and the museum inside is closed to the public. It is a nice photo spot, and the bathrooms are still open though.
