I was excited to go but it wasn’t really that exciting. Maybe it was the time of day. Most of the animals were sleeping.

We went as a family to the zoo over Easter weekend, which was the beginning of the season. It is a nice park and the prices are fair. Given the cold, many animals were in the buildings, so we didn't see about half of the...More

Small zoo by most comparisons but wehll done. Good cross section of animals. Kids love to see them and always love to see animals in a safe environment. Worth a look.

Fun...dress warmly! Lights and displays are pretty. It wasn't too crowded the time I went but it was near closing hours. Still plenty of visitors roaming through. We enjoyed it.

Brought the family to see the lights tonight and it was definitely worth the trip. The amount and quality of lights surpassed our expectations, and the Christmas music in the background was a nice treat. It was very interesting coming at night as many of...More

Always nice to walk through the woods and enjoy seeing animals that seem happy and well cared for. The Christmas at the Zoo is interesting, more about the lights than the animals (who are mostly in winter shelters) just to get in the Christmas mood

The colourful Christmas light display is turned on at this time of year to create a magical place to bring children; walk & visit the zoo. It is a must see during December (until Dec 23) -- Otherwise, the zoo is a great place for...More

Wonderful quiet evening walking the paths to the different exhibits, all spectacularly lit up with light displays. Stop for a rest by an open fire and a cup of hot chocolate to warm your hands. A perfect setting to capture the holiday spirt. Highly recommended...More

Hello I would call ahead to book as the zoo is very busy during the summer with both visitors to the area and locals attending as well. I am not sure if they are shared or single kennels. Hope you enjoy the trip

We do not allow dogs in the zoo and have kennels in a shaded area free of charge. If the puppy is very young we can keep him/her in the office in a kennel while you visit the zoo.
