it is a very unique experience for each visitor.I felt a sense of saddness for the families of the Policemen but also a sense of pride for how Moncton honours their memory.

We came across the RCMP memorial as we were walking along the river. We had known about the event when it happened. This is a very stark memorial which pays homage to the sacrifices made by the Mounties and their family.

The monument to the RCMP located in downtown Moncton is respectful of members and their families. The artist has created an astounding similarity to the 3 officers who lost their lives during a shootout in 2014. It is a must-see while at Moncton..

The name of the street right in front of the RCMP Memorial is Assumption Blvd. Here is lots of parking.
