I went to La Barriere Park as part of an Astro Photography Workshop. Great place to see dark skies and still close to the city. Lots of deer in the park enjoying the dark night too.

A beautiful little park hidden away at the edge of the city!. great for photo walks. A great place to Kayak as well if you have the time!

A hidden gem that is so peaceful for hiking,kayaking, canoeing, lounging on the grass etc. A wonderful spot for cross-country skiing in winter. Shhh ,don't tell anyone !
