Some excellent old airplanes and some pretty good history on Canadian Aviation. A couple galleries and a hanger with lots to see. A good 90 minute. Guided tour at 2pm available. Glad we went here.

We decided to go here on a Sunday afternoon. Great museum, lots of information. Went with kids aged 11 and 13. I wasn't sure if they would be bored, but the loved it and we're glad we went! There is a Childrens play area and lounge area where you can watch flights taking off and landing at the airport. These... More

This was a great place to visit with my young grandchildren. Interesting and informative for adults as well as the kids. The people there were knowledgeable and very friendly.

This little gem of a museum is tucked-away and rather hard to find even for locals but is well-worth it for those interested in aircraft and Canadian history. Offering everything from early bush planes to vintage jet fighters, this museum offers young and old the chance to see and explore a side of history that is woefully-underappreciated by most. Wing... What a terrific museum! Price is reasonable, and there is a lot to see and do. They have an impressive collection of planes, including airline planes from the 70s that you can go in (and there are speakers who will come abroad and tell you about the planes). Terrific place for kids, and they even have a very large play... More

Winnipeg Aviation Museum is a hidden gem. Manitoba being the 3rd largest aerospace manufacturing industry in Canada, you can find many aviation historical items and story in this museum. Great way to introduce aerospace and aviation to your little one.
