I love this place. Small stores and fast food restaurants. Still few old stores were you can buy fresh food (fish, meat, cheese, etc)

Great place to chill out at the confluence of the rivers, plenty of outdoor seating, al fresco restaurants, intriguing modern sculptures, well-regulated buskers, poetry and street art, candy train, superb food market and lots of Canadian geese. Loved it.

Whether you are a tourist or a local, the Forks is a great place to visit. With the unique shops, restaurants and buskers, there is much to experience here. In the summer you can stroll outside down many different pathways, and even hop on a water taxi to take a short cruise down the Assiniboine of Red River. In the... More

An interesting collection of shops and restaurants. A fun place to "people watch". As we are from the US it was very interesting to see the locals interact.

Always good to shop, eat and visit at the forks. Enjoy the walks and love Tall Grass Prairie cinnamon buns. The only downfall I have is I don't like to pay for parking when I am going to a place to spend money.

Lots to do - outdoor bandstand in the summer - boating down the Red River - restaurants and kiosks - converted train station just like Boston! Even has Children's Museum!

The Forks is well used by the people of Winnipeg. Whatever time of year you go, you can feel the energy of the Forks and the people enjoying it. There are a few shops to check out, a large antique store, great wine store (Fenton's), and many kiosks in the food market. The restaurants have patios and Muddy Waters has... More

There are so many interesting walking trails one can begin at the Forks and tour around other interesting sites near the Forks. In the summer months, one can sit on the benches and gaze at the water or walk around the river front and view the ducks. There are boat taxis that can be taken from one destination to another...
