Mountain Golf at it's finest. Carved out of the slopes of the Coast Mountain range in British Columbia, this magnificent Whistler golf course allows nature to dictate the path without constraints of commercial influence. Traversing creeks, ponds, and granite rock, elevation changes of more than 400 feet overall create an impressive golf opportunity. Naturally spectacular BC resort golf.

We were here as part of a golf package. The course had also scheduled a tournament the same day which caused nothing but a round of scurried golf. While we appreciate fast pace of play, when you are 2,000 miles from home, you'd like to take in at least a little of the course. Because of the tournament we were... More

We were a party of 2 and make advance reservations. We were joined but 2 brothers from Toronto. As others had pre advice about the parking and shuttling inconveniences we took the advice and plan accordingly. The shuttle wait time was about 5-10mins. The course was in good shape and this was our first game of our Canadian Rockies road... More

Gps carts are required and needed as there is many elevation changes, bring your A game as you will need it, many awkward lies make it so challenging and you need to stay on the fairway to stay away from the blow up holes. I didn't and payed the cost on the card. Views take away the pain and a... More

To park vehicle had to be taken to Fairmont Hotel then you were shuttled to golf course .Had to be shuttled practice area and it was very lacking facility. After paying and getting golf carts we met the starter. It was only then we found out it was cart party only. The carts had a primitive GPS that only showed... More

Scenery is amazing with spectacular vistas on every hole. Challenging layout with plenty of elevation changes. Not overly busy at the time we played so pace of play was very good. Found the front side to be the more difficult nine. Great service from all at the club. Range is a short drive away from the course but transportation provided... More

Spent 4 nights here and had a great time. This was the first time in the summer months and was not disappointed. The Mallard lounge was always hopping. They have a great patio area outside to enjoy the afternoon sun. As a Fairmont property you always expect that certain level of service, and you won't be disappointed here either. They... More

A very picturesque and challenging golf course. Plenty of elevation changes and you need to make sure your tee shot is on right side of fairway or you could have a blind second.

Pros: Breathtaking scenery. Every hole is designed to challenge the golfer's skill and scene of awe. Cons: Course Marshaling - starting Saturday morning. 5.5 hours to finish 18 holes. On several holes, we had 4 groups. On one hole we had 5 groups stacked up. Marshal was nowhere to be seen and very ineffective. Lot of grumbling. You cannot maintain... More

Great golf, great staff, great food, great drinks. It does not get better than this. A tough time course, best hit shorter club if in doubt because you miss the fairway, get out a new ball out. The course is fair if you don't try to tame it, but will punish you if you do.

We did not play golf but the golf course is really nice. The Clubhouse Lounge Restaurant on the Fairmont Chateau grounds is excellent,! This place is a hidden gem. We ordered burgers with salad and garlic parmesan fries and a chicken quesadilla. The food was amazing! The portions were very big that we all shared it. The burgers came as... More
