Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We make quick stops here quite often as we drive through the Okanagan. The other day we took our time and watched as the lake colours changed depending on the sun and clouds and the fact that it was later in the day. It felt like about 10 minutes but looking at the time stamp on our photos it was over 40!
We now know, relax, stop and watch the show on partial cloudy days. Just be careful pulling back out onto the highway. Speed limit is about 90k/h.

We never get tired of this view. The lake looks different every time, depends on the sun and clouds but it's always a show stopper!

The view is incredible and it is an easy walk for anyone in your family! Dogs on leash are allowed too! Just watch the rattlesnakes in the rocks in the summertime.

Must have to be in lookout. Very beautiful view. Easy walk to the top. Lots of benches to relax. Easy to find the road, good parking lot. We were in the morning, there were almost no people.

We stop here a lot, just to enjoy the views of the lake, valley and mountains. It's beautiful no matter what time of year it is. The only thing that I find odd it that they lock up the restrooms during the off season.

We visited the Kalamalka Lake our way to West Kelowna from Revelstoke. Like any other lake in the valley, it is so beautiful and serene that we wanted to stay there and relax through the entire afternoon. Nearby areas have many restaurants and events, including concerts and water sports, which make it more interesting.

This lookout has been here for many years. It is a great place for a view of beautiful Kalamalka Lake, including Rattlesnake Point where, yes, Rattlesnakes used to slither in abundance. The snakes are now few and far between and on the endangered list. Need a quiet spot to sit and let the road traffic go by without you... this is the spot.
