Haven’t been to the Odeon in forever but went last night with friends to see “free solo”. Love the reclining seats! I thought they only had them at capitol 6 so that was the only theater I would go to. Now there are more options...More

The Cineplex Odeon Victoria is something of a city landmark. Situated downtown on Yates Street, this cinema holds the distinction of being the oldest movie house in YYJ. However, despite being 70 years old (as of 2018), this place has managed to modernize just enough...More

Tuesday special price is a good time to catch a movie and relax in the reclining seats. We came here last Tuesday to see Victoria & Abdul. I was afraid I may fall asleep being on the super relaxing seat but the movie was interesting...More

Older theatre which has been upgraded with new recliner seats. Electronic with a foot rest. Spacious and enough room to get by even with it fully extended. Very comfortable. Good staff at the counter.

Went to see a new movie on a Thursday evening and the cinema was almost empty. The seat reclined well and we're comfortable. Price was fair.

Worst experience ever. We had 2 tickets to movie preview. They wouldn't let us in because of full capacity. When we asked about using our tickets for different date were told "no".

Went to watch a movie on a sweltering hot day to escape the heat. The Odeon has an old-world vibe with electric reclining seats -- and no air conditioning (or didn't have it running).

We saw a movie recommended by the staff and loved it. The chairs are comfortable electric recliners. We asked for hot dogs at the concession, but they were out. Not to disappoint, the concession manager promised delivery to our theater seats. The dogs were great...More

New recliner chairs can be reserved in advance, scene points for tickets. Theatre is within easy walking distance of downtown hotels and apartments. Usually first run movies, check on line for easy bookings.
