I took my teens here, we had a blast. The native exhibit was gorgeous. We enjoyed every part of the museum. Even took up a movie in their big screen movie department. We will be going back again annually I believe.

Where else can you find a galleon, a whole town and an Indian village under one roof? I never get tired of visiting this interesting museum. A wonderful visual display of BC's history under one roof.

First visit about 40 years featured diorama displays of logging, mining, streets, etc. when they were rare. Their displays still are about the best we've seen, showing early life in BC. Displays and artifacts of the culture of the native peoples are very good. Only disappointment was not seeing any Emily Carr paintings.

One of the best First Nations experiences you can have. The exhibits and artifacts keep bringing you back and make you want to read more about the Heritage of BC. Easily accessible...there is something going on all of the time. Good Gift Shop and adequate food opportunities.

There is a lot to see at this museum. It can be overwhelming but get a map! If you start on the top floor and work your way down I find it's harder to miss things and it's less confusing. Lots of history here, great learning experience for the whole family.

I've been to many museums (many boring, stuff you could simply look up on the internet). But the Royal BC Museum was interesting, interactive and experiential.

Had the opportunity to visit this museum - and very glad we did ------ first stop was the Terry Fox exhibit, extremely well done, emotional, but a great tribute to an exceptional young Canadian who has touched and still touches so many lives in Canada as well as globally - we will keep running for you Terry !!!!! Next really... More

Well thought out exhibits. Walked through them all at a leisurely pace. Took about 1.5 hours. You can enter the building before the museum opening hours. There are places to sit and wait for it to open. Not much sitting within the exhibits.
