Tents displaying their hand made one of a kind local wares from art glass to leather to many jewelry vendors, soaps and crazy hats etc...everything is good quality. A must to visit! From May to end of September.
Lots of jewelry, cards, art, skincare products etc at reasonable prices. Wasn’t even looking to buy jewellery and fell in love with beautiful earring and pendant on a wire set. Nice variety of products in the open are market.
There is the Bastion Farmer's Market on Sunday, starting at 1100am. We walked through it on the way downtown, and then came back later to make our purchases. There are a variety of vendors, from arts, crafts, jewelry, food, drinks, and carvings.
Victoria is an old historic town with several stunning places to visit. Better of all is that almost everything if Free. You can just walk around and visit all places for free. Also, most of the places are wheelchair accessible.
A good place to see goods of artists. I was disappointed that there were not too many artists set up in the square.
However, whatever we saw was interesting and worth the walk down Government Street to the Square.
This square has changed a lot since I worked in Victoria over 30 years ago. But pleasantly, the nightclub I visited there still operates as a nightclub and the place is more alive with the addition of restaurants
