How could we not have a wonderful evening seeing kd land in concert? She has the voice of an angel! We are rating the Royal Theatre. The comfort of the seating leaves something to be desired. I would think twice about attending a function there...More

It's a small quaint theater on the outer edge of downtown. We were able to see well. The show was a good show, not a high budget show. We enjoyed drinks in the lobby before the show and were able to take them in with...More

One of the main theaters in Victoria, it has some of the look and feel of London's West End. Pleasant, can be a little tight, much like the West End.... Small enough to feel included in a performance, and yet large enough for principal events.

This is a charming old theatre with an air of grandeur but with an intimate setting both for visiting musical acts, the symphony, the opera and the ballet.

I attended my granddaughter and grandson's dance recital at the Royal Theatre. It was great and even though the Royal Theatre is very old it still has ambiance.

I have attended numerous events at this theatre over 30ish years. The building has great character and the volunteers / staff at the theatre are always very helpful. Most seats are excellent, but we avoid the upper balcony as it warms up a fair bit.
