We visited the castle as part of a bus tour of the region. It gave us a sense of early 20th century Victoria history and style. Docents throughout the castle very helpful and eager to give is details of the place.

One of the few monuments in Victoria which mays explain the number of visitors. Very crowded not fully furnished rather expensive ticket. In any case it is offering an interesting piece of information about life in the 19th century. Not a must in my view

Lovely historical period home. Amazing leadlight windows and ornate timber panelling and furniture. Better than we initially expected.
