Years ago I did the tour and while I didn't retain any information, the inside is stunning. So much to gaze upon. The grounds are beautiful also. Lots of lawnspace to laze about on a warm sunny day with a good water view. In the winter the fountain freezes and that in itself is wonderful to witness.

A walk on the outside grounds on a cold January weekend offered a quiet and frozen fountain view of this historical building. On Monday we ended up stopping in to take a look inside. Very quiet Monday morning this is a great 20 minute stop to see some impressive detail on the interior design. The security and staff folks were... More

These buildings are massive. Just imagining the effort to build them was head splitting. Amazing the capital is on an island! Great exercise just to walk around them.

The Parliament Buildings offer a free tour with a guide between 9AM and 5PM, every 30 minutes. The tour was very informative, never dull and was extra entertaining when an actor dressed as in the early 20th century played one of the important characters of the history of Victoria. We say the actor at the end of the tour that... More

As the Parliament building is a working building, we had limited access to the inners but what we saw, including the two-story tall Christmas tree in the rotunda and the photos of its origin were worth the visit.

Surprisingly enjoyable, with an informative review of the BC system of government and the history of this grand building. I wouldn't place it at the top of a "must-do" itinerary, but if you have time, it is well worth a visit.

The tour guides are really informative and professional. Good history lesson done in a very quick and interesting manner. Good for all ages. Don't miss the view of the quilt remembering the murdered and missing women from the upper balcony floor - very moving.

Great old building that I have not visited inside in ages but pass outside all the time when in the area. Tourist destination. Beautiful at night and in particular during the Holiday season.

There is either a guided or self guided tour of the premises. There is some very nice architectural features to the building as well as some beautiful stain glass work. The guided tour is nice as the guide is very knowledgable about B.C.'s government and its history. Tour is fairly short taking about 30 minutes or so.
