While strolling to find a good place for breakfast, we acccidentally found the restaurant of British Columbia Parliament Buildings.....The ambience of the place is typically British and the menu too matched. We had two days of excellent breakfast and doubt there can be any better in Victoria especially for the price and par excellence food quality.Must say the Parliamentarians hired the... Did not get close up, but view from the harbor walk was VERY impressive. Did not know there might be tour opportunities, if so, would definitely inquire

We joined a 4pm tour around the parliamentary building, which was very informative with a few funny historical highlights thrown in. Took about 30mins in total. It was interesting to learn about how the British Columbia parliament runs and fab that they have a room just to celebrate women in parliament. On leaving, make sure to look behind, the building... We've been to visit the parliament building a few times and wanted to take our guest to see it. She was amazed by the sheer beauty of the building, stained glass windows, fresco paintings and especially the chamber where the legislators meet. There isn't a lot places you can go to because it is filled with offices but it is... More

A very Victorian era building. Nice place to take photos and looks even better at night time when the lights come on. And being a short walk from downtown, it's worthwhile to check out even for a short amount of time.

The Parliament building is magnificent & overlooks the inner harbor of Victoria. You can do a tour (free), pretty much each hour and see some of the local history. If you get a chance, head to the very reasonably priced dining room.

Our hotel, Hotel Grand Pacific (see separate review on this), was right next door to the Parliament Buildings. From our beautiful balcony room, we had amazing views of the buildings, sitting proudly in all their majestic greatness, overlooking the Inner Harbour. After checking in to the hotel on a Friday afternoon, which just happened to be my birthday, we hurried... More

I am constantly finding extra areas to comment on on trip Advisor so this one is a long time coming. My husband and I from the UK, have visited Canada including Victoria several times over the past few years and must say that this building is both stunning in the day and when lit up at night, and the inside...
