This is a small museum of Carr house belongings where you can watch movie on Georgia O Keefe, Frida Kahlo, and Emily Carr and walk through the house. Grounds to estate have a few signs and quotes of Emily's within flowers and plantings.

This was one of my favorite attractions of our trip! The cost is half to 3/4 less than the Castle and museums and you have the freedom of going at your own pace. Truly enjoyed learning about this wonderful artist. ❤ And - the Tea...More

In addition to what other people have already said, I'm really wondering what was going on with all the signed paintings (signed Emily Carr) that were up for sale and painted by someone else (the local neighbour?) This is really confusing for visitors!

We had a lot of fun making this stop, but it definitely would have been better if we'd done some research first. We only had time for a quick stop and it was a little hard to do with kids. The society that runs it...More

I've recently fallen in love with Emily Carr, so a visit to her home was on my list. They have collected a lot of items from her era, but it's kind of a jumble done by her supporters. I enjoyed the video of her, Frieda...More

The Emily Carr House was closed when we were in Victoria, however, we were able to walk the grounds and read the informative plaques with Emily's paintings and beautiful sayings. I look forward to visiting when the home is open and we can walk within....More

The garden and sun room are beautiful but the care and attention given throughout the house to convey the influences and personality of Emily are wonderful. I have seen many Emily Carr exhibits but this venue provides a far more intimate insight into who Emily...More

I think It's fair to say that, the reason this attraction works is because of Jan Ross. She is a former Art History student that fell in love with everything Emily Carr. Being so passionate about the old and the new that Carr's work brings...More

We spent about An hour at the house and garden. We watched a fascinating film by the National Film Board of Canada. They have a tea and refreshment area but we did not have time to enjoy it as we had another engagement.
