I spotted this just driving along in Stan Lee Park, I squealed on the brakes and ran out to have a look! I swore it was the little mermaid. I wish more towns had such realistic statues like this! There was also a pokemon gym...More

If you do the cycle / walk / skate loop around Stanley Park you’ll come past this statue. Certainly familiar if you e been to Copenhagen - sweet idea.

What a wonderful spot this is Vancouver. We found It by accident but is is a wonderful find. We would highly recommend it to both families and couples. She is a breathtaking statue!

I really do not know why this statue is so appealing, but when I saw it, it did have a seagull pooping over it, so maybe the birds know more about art than us! Worth a quick look if you have nothing to do and...More

I was on a tour, the guide said you can tell when the tide is high it comes up to her feet. Low tide well you can see the whole rock. You can find her part of the seawall walk.

If you walk the Seawall and set out to make this your destination, you’ll be disappointed. It’s one of many interesting things to look at along the walk. Certainly adds to the overall awesomeness of the Seawall.

Firstly, the location on the map does not appear to be accurate. It is closer to the Lumberman's Arch area. If parked at the totems, walk out behind, pickup the seawall AFTER the loop, and walk westward a short distance. If you are walking from...More

There is so much to see in Stanley Park, and this statue is just one of them. Very pretty, evocative of the little mermaid in Denmark, and supposed to be a visual reminder of Vancouver’s reliance on the sea. The mountains behind form a pretty...More

Spotted this whilst walking around Stanley park. Thought it was an actual person before getting closer!!! Has some great history behind it, been there for awhile and a great photo opportunity as the snowy mountains and Vancouver are right behind it.

When you are walking or cycling the Stanley Park Sea Wall, keep your eye out for this little Statue built in the water. This is just a point of intrest. Take a picture here and there and that is about it. But it's not just...More

Stanley Park
Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up
close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy
expanse offers outdoor teahouses and stunning views,
beachfront hideaways and splash parks. It is a typical
getaway spot for friends and families, especially as
it is home to Vancouver's aquarium, and some of its
best equestrian outlets.
