It's just a statue so it's not worth going out of the way to see it... however, the park is really popular so you'll probably end up walking by it at some point. My husband and I were on a mini vacation and ended up...More

not worth making a special trip for ... but if you are in the area anyhow, worth swinging by to look at her. Reminiscent of the Little Mermaid in Copenhagen Harbor. Our guide said that she is often decorated by locals in seasonal or fun...More

This statue reminds me of the mermaid in Singapore and Copenhagen. It is located off the Vancouver Seawall in the Burrard Inlet. Can miss it if you rush pass. Basically it is a nice statue.

One of many interesting sights a walk around Stanley Park has to offer. While not worth a trip on it's own, can be bundled with local attractions such as the Totem Poles, Lighthouse, 9 o'clock gun, etc. While some say it is a copy of...More

You will see this statue if you walk along the sea wall or take a horse and carriage ride. The girl in a wetsuit is visible at low tide and is nearly covered at high tide.

Strangely reminiscent of the 'Little Mermaid' the bronze statue on this rock by the Seawall walkway is well loved, especially by the local bird population who have daubed her in streets of white. Visitors stop for a photograph and fishermen try their luck in the...More

Whimsical "copy" of the Little Mermaid statue in Copenhagen. Interesting to observe the change fro hour-to-hour and the tide ebbs and flows.

My first reaction was - not expecting to see this statue - who put that there ? Shortly thereafter followed by - and why ? Then I smiled .... which is perhaps part of the goal. She maybe in a wetsuit but even in the...More

I spotted this just driving along in Stan Lee Park, I squealed on the brakes and ran out to have a look! I swore it was the little mermaid. I wish more towns had such realistic statues like this! There was also a pokemon gym...More

Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up
close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy
