We had a fantastic experience kayaking Indian Arm. The scenery was spectacular and our guide, Adele, was knowledgeable and fun. The BBQ salmon was quite tasty as well. Also, thanks to Peter for switching our reservation last minute so we could take advantage of sunny weather (which disappeared the next several days). Overall, an excellent experience.

Vancouver is beautiful but we opted to take a tour that would take us out of the city to see the following on the Sea to Sky tour: ocean-side town of Horseshoe Bay, British Columbia’s 3rd highest waterfall at Shannon Falls, the Sea to Sky Gondola, cross the Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge and Britannia Mine Museum. The pick up at... More

We spent a wonderful day with Peter Loppe exploring Indian Arm in North Vancouver by kayak. Peter is a knowledgeable and gracious tour leader - and kayak instructor! We saw numerous seals, a bald eagle, sea stars and numerous other birds. The day boasted crystal clear skies, so that helped! And true to his word, Peter cooked an amazing salmon... More

Just over a week ago my twin sister and I went on this trip to celebrate our 30th birthday. This truly was a wonderful experience and I am still enjoying the memory of it. Peter was full of all kinds of interesting facts and it really enhanced my experience getting to learn more about BC. Adele was so warm and... More

We have just returned from a three week holiday in Canada and our trip with Peter was one of our absolute highlights. It was well organised, Peter was knowledgeable, entertaining and charming and everyone in our group (from 52 years of age down to 12 years of age) thoroughly enjoyed the day. I would recommend it to anyone....

Definitely the highlight of our trip to Vancouver! Our family was picked up by our guide Peter at our hotel and driven to a dock where we started our adventure. My 7, 13 and 16 year olds all had a great time, paddling, listening and watching all of the beauty and nature of Indian Arm. It was a great lesson... More

A great way to spend a day in the Vancouver area. The kayak and beach BBQ tour provided everything it promised. We were picked up from our hotel, the scenery was beautiful, we had four hours on the water, and ate a delicious lunch on a wooded island beach. Peter was an excellent host. He provided everything we needed, including... More

I must say, in this day and age, the service industry is producing an experience at every touch point the consumer has with the product---via online websites, interactions with staff, the actual adventure. There happened to be confusion between the tour that was booked, and the exact tour company that was organized with scheduling and organizing the tours. So, naturally,... More

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
