I came here for dinner with my wife last night. I have to say it is probably the best dinner I've had in years. The atmosphere was beautiful and the waiter was extremely knowledgeable. The food was to die for. Having the piano playing in the background was a wonderful added touch. We will definitely be back!

Very upscale lounge for adults looking to unwind in a classy atmosphere. Service was impeccable. Food is top notch. The drink menu is extensive. Everything we tried was 'the best we've ever had'. Really, it's a slider. We've had them hundreds of times. But these sliders were AMAZING! The duck roulette was so delicious we contemplated ordering a second. We... More

My significant other and I stopped into have a drink, just spend time with each other, and listen to some music. It is one of the few places one can hear some live music and still have a conversation. A great place to escape from the busyness of the city for an hour or two.

We stopped in for a nightcap and there was wonderful live acoustic guitar being played! It was a great and relaxing way to enjoy our night in Vancouver.

Dear Kristy H, Thank you for sharing your feedback after visiting Bacchus Lounge last Friday evening. Your comments are very much appreciated! Each Friday evening from 8pm - 1:00am we feature an acoustic guitar player. On the evening you joined us, Dave Martone, a crowd favorite was playing! He is one of our featured musicians. We hope you are able... More

Best service and menu. We love the Bacchus. The atmosphere and service just allow us to unwind. Elana took total care of us. She spoiled us. Also Kataryna's smiling face and visits were a highlight. Martin in valet is awesome also. Bacchus is our go to. Live music was a treat also. Be back as soon as possible. Save us... More

Came here for lunch on our first day into Vancouver and it was excellent. We came back the next night to hear the music and enjoy fish and chips Bacchus is not cheap but it's worth every penny for the ambiance, food, service, and charm.

This is my most favourite place to go eat and or have drinks. It's elegant and luxurious. Sooo nice for a girls lunch or drinks after Nordstrom or a romantic dinner. The staff remembers you and serve in style. The hamburger is incredible. It's aaa beef tenderloin ground up and the flavour is amazing. The white wente Chardonnay is also... More

The food was very good -- not a large menu (I actually prefer a more pared down menu like this) but certainly enough choices from across Canada to satisy everyone. The entertainment was wonderful. Our seating was at 7pm and we had piano/singing for almost our entire 2.5 hours there. He took short (5 to 10 minute) breaks about once... More

Not a lot to dislike unless you want a more active, bustling atmosphere. A quiet place to relax with your partner and unwind after a busy day with friendly attentive staff to bring you drinks

I have reviewed Bacchus before, but I just love this place. Whenever we're in Vancouver we make a point of dining here. We always go for a table by the window in the lounge. This particular evening the windows were open and the flowers in the window boxes were just lovely. We had the Chicken Liver and Cognac Parfait and... More

Staying in Granville Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
