When visiting Vancouver, Steamworks is often where I land for a craft beer and a snack or dinner. Their selection of draughts display creativity and imagination, there is one for everyone, nice adventure. I bring an IPA lover, I switch between their Flagship and Empress,...More

After a long day of biking, we had dinner here. I had the kale and quinoa salad. It was very good. I also had some really good fries with malt vinegar. Service was ok, perhaps a bit slow, but they were busy. The servers were...More

My partner and I had our first Canadian meal here. BBQ chicken burger and fries and a pulled pork sandwich with fries both tasted great. Also awesome beers highly recommend trying their stout.

Steamworks was quite good. The food was fresh and flavorful. They seem to cater to a lot of different appetites and dietary needs. The beer was good. I had the saison. The hubby liked his IPA.

Gastown
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and
stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of
being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many
plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell
the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's
history a more lively presence here than anywhere
else. Having been originally founded around a popular
worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of
