About
This expansive beach offers fantastic picnicking opportunities, swimming, beach volleyball, or simply a panoramic view of Vancouver and the mountains. Spanish Banks tends to be a quieter beach which makes it very family-friendly.

Walking along Spanish Banks anytime is a lovely treat. Great views of the North Shore mountains and Downtown Vancouver. Ending up at the Jericho Yacht Club patio for a beer is an excellent end to the day.

Very nice walk along several different beaches. Great times walking out exploring the ocean bottom at low tide. Good for skim boarders and para sailers on a windy day. The dog beach at the end provides some funny antics.

It's a wonderful beach, a lot of space even when crowded but the constant breeze/gusts sometimes make the temperature feel a lot and make it very hard to dive into the sea....

This is a big park along the shoreline. There is only a small sandy beach area at the most westerly end. Most of the shoreline is rocky (rip rap). The small beach is popular with dog walkers and children but it is not a beach...More

...and the parkng is free ! Admittedly Kits has food and amenities close by but if you simply want some space to play, and you have your own food and drink, this beach is a better bet.

West Point Grey is one of the city’s oldest
neighbourhoods, especially known for its easygoing and
admired beachfronts. Locals crowd the Spanish Banks

sprawling view of the English Bay awaits. The central
village is an oasis of sovereign shops, many of them
in local operation for years. The neighbourhood has a
