About
This expansive beach offers fantastic picnicking opportunities, swimming, beach volleyball, or simply a panoramic view of Vancouver and the mountains. Spanish Banks tends to be a quieter beach which makes it very family-friendly.

Spanish banks are not too far from the city center and can be accessed by car, bus and bike. It is a great place to find peace and spend a quiet day by the ocean.

You can walk out for 3 Kilometers when the tide is low here. What a view and calming place. Check the tide tables online to go at low tide.

Walking along Spanish Banks anytime is a lovely treat. Great views of the North Shore mountains and Downtown Vancouver. Ending up at the Jericho Yacht Club patio for a beer is an excellent end to the day.

neighbourhoods, especially known for its easygoing and
admired beachfronts. Locals crowd the Spanish Banks
