I have played McCleery for years and have always found it to be a challenging course. I played it again just 3 days ago and enjoyed the day immensely. The course and greens were beautifully groomed in preparation for the Vancouver Open and the weather...More

We played at this course many many times but just realized this morning they have a really good marshal named Ken. We were there this morning at around 6:15 am. There were quiet and the temperature is quite cool. We didn't think of to bring...More

The toughest of the 3 Vancouver City courses, but always a bit less pretty than Fraserview. However, it was in great condition this year although I only played it twice. As usual, they could up the standard of food, but that is a universal municipal...More

Played recently and it is in great condition. The rain may have affected it a bit since, but it drains fairly well. It is being kept up to a good standard and could be adjusted to a really good track with a bit of investment....More

Played a few times in the past, it was slow then. Hoping for a better experience this time but no luck. There is no knowledgeable starter and did not even care of pace. First hole is a par 5, the starter even allow players to...More

Golfed at McCleery for the first time this season. Fairways and greens are in great condition. There are a number of challenging holes, including number 10 which is a steep uphill par 4. Say a coyote, beaver, and great blue heron. Staff are friendly. Pace...More

We booked a foursome on Thursday Feb 25 at 10:30. On Redbook it shows a discount "4 for 3" at McCleery. However the Pro Shop did NOT comply with the Redbook discount rule. This is a shame and a cheating to the golfers. This "after...More

This is a great risk reward course. Lots of dog legs. Narrow fairways. The staff takes pride in keeping this course in great condition for a public course.

Nice location, cheap green fees, challenging holes with variety, lots of wildlife ( coyotte, bald eagles, event a seal in the Fraser arm ). Can be wet after rainy period but remains one of my preferred place around

City course just off W. Marine Drive. Popular facility with a good practice range. However, on more than 1 occasion I have had to wait as all the stalls were full. Like all the city courses, McCleery is in very good condition. It has some...More
