It was my Birthday on Mother's Day. I Booked a massage at absolute spa for myself, mother and sister. When we arrived we were not greeted nor acknowledged by the red haired woman at the front desk. I told her our names she then asked again who we were . There was no mention of happy birthday at all! .... More

Very professional, and treated like a princess, strawberries and champagne for mother day. Extremely relaxed atmosphere...would make this an annual stop for a girls trip!

Was the lucky recipients of a spa day birthday gift! [Thanks Frankie]! This is the first spa visit I've made in Vancouver since I moved here in 1986, and boy, I have been missing out! Frankie had booked me a total body exfoliating scrub, a deep cleansing mud treatment, glycolic exfoliating mask, total foot therapy pedicure and topped it off... More

My daughter booked us Lomi Lomi massages for my birthday and it was a wonderful treat. My masseuse was unclear on the length of the massage which resulted in it being a broken into 2 sections, but my daughter's was very attentive and she felt fantastic afterwards. The pool was closed for maintenance, so they offered chocolate dipped strawberries and... More

I had the absolute woman package today which included a massage, a facial and a manicure and pedicure. Additionally they provided a light lunch. It was very relaxing and my skin is glowing! All very friendly and talented staff, and a blissful experience overall! Would definitely recommend this!

Absolute spa was amazing at helping me organise a surprise birthday spa day for two friends. They went above and beyond to make the afternoon special. With champagne and strawberries and amazing spa treatments, all 9 of us went home happy and relaxed. We have vowed to make this a semi annual event, especially with all the help Absolute provided... We are a group of 20 people who work together in the finance department. The spa was able to accommodate 2 - 45 minute services for all of us and everything went off without a hitch. In between services we were seated in the spa restaurant where we were served complimentary chicken salad, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. During the... More

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
