Couldn't find anything to tell us about the history of this area - how it was originally dorms for Olympic athletes. However, it is adjacent the Seawall, which is a MUST for the serious walker/hiker/biker.

Good place to wander round. Views of False Creek pleasant. Lots of benches and fun seats to relax on. Some nice flowers too.

A new and growing neighborhood on the waterfront. Businesses and parks continue to open. Great place to make a home base.

This is a great place for a stroll, restaurants, sculptures, cute shops and a beautiful seawall. You can even catch a small ferry to downtown Vancouver or Granville Island from here.
