My favourite place to run is around the seawall as you get such awesome views of the city. If you fancy a real long run then do the whole thing but realistically I recommend that you rent bikes and enjoy all the different sites along the way.

One way to work of all the extra food we have been eating. Hired bikes ( lots of place bike rental places on Robson St. near park) it was just under $40 for 4 of us and the bikes were in good order . It was lightly raining but we had rain jackets and it was ok. A few areas... More

Walking the seawall in Vancouver means, great views, great exercise, and great harbour time. It's one of my favourite things to do in Vancouver, in all kinds of weather. My daughter and I just walked the Coal Harbour route for 16 km return loop to Lumberman's Arch around Brockton Point and the Nine O-Clock gun last weekend. How marvellous to... More

We walked all the way through the park round to the sea wall. The scenes are great walking through, fortunately we went in autumn and the colours on the trees made for some great pictures. Our host at our hostel (Patrick - urban guesthouse) was great in helping us find everything. He recommended doing the walk and once at the... More

Get a pair of some good shoes because you will not want to stop walking.....or rent a bicycle. It's a quite long walk so I would recommend to skip downtown part a start straight in the park.

I wish every city had something like this! It's great seeing both locals and tourists alike enjoying the outdoors. Rain or shine these paths are always busy! I love that there are separate paths for pedestrians and bikes. Great views and fresh air!

The seawall is a beautiful pathway around stanley park right on the water. It is worth walking/biking at least some of the wall. It is quite long in its entirety but still just as great if you only do a small portion. Can stop and have a picnic on the way or visit the aquarium or take a horse and... More

I decided to bike on the seawall at Stanley Park on my first day in Vancouver. What a wonderful way to experience snow-capped mountains, forest trails, sandy beaches and cityscapes all in one amazing bike ride. The seawall is an easy ride for most and I would not leave Vancouver without taking this adventure.

I have not been back here in 5 years and was delighted to see that the Seawall is still a great place to go and walk for hours. The City has done a great job at up-keeping it and the constant changing scenery makes this a very pleasant attraction. It is clean and has a multitude of points of interests.... More

Staying in Stanley Park

Neighbourhood Profile
Stanley Park
Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy expanse offers outdoor teahouses and stunning views, beachfront hideaways and splash parks. It is a typical getaway spot for friends and families, especially as it is home to Vancouver's aquarium, and some of its best equestrian outlets.
