This is a beautiful botanical garden on the UBC campus. There is a reasonable charge to roam the gardens, which are lush with local flora like ferns and trees that grow only in the rainforest. I had been to UBC years before for a campus tour but didn't have time to see the gardens. I always wanted to go back... More

If you love "hidden gardens" this one is for you. Tucked at the North End of UBC it's not large but it is nice to walk around if you are in the area. Great view of the North Shore Mountains. I visited the garden on October. The design of the reception was bright, beautiful, and unique. The fountain was awesome at the beginning. There was some nice carved designed pumpkins Because of Halloween. The trees's leaves has turned to in lovely colors. I saw a coyote and some gooses. Some squares and also statues made of stone and metal have... More

The woodland section is very pretty and interesting, we then went into the underpass to the vegetable and plant section. This looked a little tired, but this may have been because it was the end of the season.

I didn't like the garden: it's big but it seems repetitive, the plants are not well explained and since I went there the day after it rained some paths were muddy. The only great place is the TreeWalk: it is thrilling to walk on those bridges between trees that move a lot for every little step you take and allow... More

A beautiful garden and the treetop walk is fun, join a guided group to hear about the seasonal chenges and points of interest. Beautiful colours in fall.

This is a very strong botanical garden with an excellent collection. The rhododendrons are particularly interesting (but not in August). The David Lam Asian collection is particularly good.

Such a beautiful garden right on the UBC campus. A very pleasant experience whether you walk around, or just sit and relax at this fantastic gem. I never miss it when I visit UBC.

This garden had many beautiful roses throughout at the end of May when we visited for a graduation ceremony. Nice place for pictures with a view of the water. Roses, roses, besides everywhere.

We came here specifically for the TreeWalk after deciding that the Capilano Suspension Bridge was too expensive. This TreeWalk was half the price and came with an excellent tour from Laura, who answered all our questions knowledgeably and gave us lots of interesting tidbits. The bridge is wobbly, but Laura advised us to put one foot in front of the... More
