Our guide was especially friendly and told the tales with feeling. The finale was extra creepy as the sun set and we were released into a dark, spooky Gastown.

this is a great way to get to know the city and its history. Make sure to have good walking shoes and an umbrella, a water bottle is always helpful

What a wonderfull idea to take a walking tour and get the stories about the begining of the city of Vancouver. To take time to get a good look at the first buildings built and to remember that in those days alcool was illigal. Great tour for people who enjoye walking and history.

The tour itself was really fascinating. I have grown up in Vancouver and I had no idea there was such lurid history! Really fun to have the history of this part of town brought to life in such a genuine manner. Will the tour guide and Chief Story Teller was fantastic and a real pleasure to be with. Highly recommend... More

The tour covered interesting history in a fun way and started at a time convenient for a business traveler (like myself) to take after a day of meetings.

A super activity. 2 hours flew by. Roxanne, our guide was wonderful and who knew Vancouver was built on so much crime and corruption?

Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
