The trip was great! 5 hours seems like a long time but it flys by. Our tour guide Nick was great and knew so much about the area and was so welcoming and friendly, it really kicked off my trip for me. I am only in Vancouver for a week and for a convention so a lot of my weekend... More

Great bike ride around Vancouver with Nick, our fun, friendly and knowledgeable guide. Lots of sights and stops en-route. I feel like I know Vancouver now. The weather was also kind and stayed dry ! Wish London was as bike friendly as Vancouver.

My friend and I enjoyed a super fun tour with our amazing guide Nick in downtown Vancouver and Stanley Park. We were not very experienced riders but it was not a problem at all! Nick shared many interesting facts with us and we saw fantastic views along the way.

We have spent a wonderful cycling day in the amazing city of Vancouver and our local tour guide Adam was great. You couldn't have asked for a better guide. Very friendly and informative, one can feel that he grew up there. He provided us with much more insight than ever expected (if you want to know): the background history (city... More

We rented bikes here because it was within walking distance of our hotel. Bikes are well maintained and come with helmets, locks and baskets. Staff was very helpful with bike adjustments and local information. Definitely recommend.

Excellent trip guided by Nick so learnt lots about the history and different parts of the City. Although very cool at 0c there were several breaks to warm the cold parts including lunch at Granville Island.

We took an Alaskan cruise leaving from Vancouver and had one day to spend in the city. One Sunday, to be precise. I looked into hop-on/hop-off but didn't really like it that much because it would be impossible to see all the sights without being rushed. So I booked this tour and it was fantastic! It hit most of the... More

WOW! And the biggest most appreciative THANK YOU to GREG from City Cycle Tours for an incredible Bike Tour Experience! My son (almost 13 and a bike-mad to the point of constantly going off-road) and I did the tour on a day that apparently was a ‘weather event’ in Vancouver – snow and ‘snain’ and sleet and so cold. But... More

We did the Grand Tour, and it was a good way to see the city. The tour guide was nice and friendly, and the tour was well organized. This tour is mostly flat with one big hill leaving Stanley Park. Stanley Park was the best part of the tour. If I had to do it over, I might just do... More

We rented bikes for the family to ride around Stanley Park. This place came highly recommended from the concierge at the Pan Pacific Hotel. The bikes were in great shape and came with locks for when we had to park them. Would definitely use them again. I was so glad our kids got the chance to ride around in such a... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
