Fun ride to Granville

We took it to Granville Island which is a short ride. It was fun to kind of get out and see the harbo(u)r. Taxis ran quickly and regularly.

we used this very affordable service to visit Granville Island a couple of time whilst staying in Vancouver.and on one of our trips the ferry had just left the pontoon when we went to get it but as it was raining they turned around and came back for us.a very thoughtful gesture for which we thank them

Gotta take the Aquabus if you are a tourist in Vancouver. We took the water taxi from Yaletown to Granville Island and then back to Hornby, to walk back to our hotel. You should also do the Seabus to North Vancouver!

This was a novel way to get across the bay, but well worth the trip. Seating for at least 12+ it gave a waterline view of the shoreline.

This is a great way to get across to Kitsilano, or Granville Island. It's a great way to see False Creek Harbour and all the comings and going of the other traffic on the water. What a great experience. Highly recommended.

Awesome little ferry boats with friendly operators. Inexpensive way to move around points along the waterfront. Tourists and locals alike ride these adorable and functional little ferries. There was always one approaching when you needed one. Just head down to a ferry stop and enjoy!

It was cheap and quick as a method of transportation. Don't expect a "tour" at all - the employees just get you from Point A to Point B.

Siteseeing perfection on a budget! A fantastic way to see the False Creek harbour. Sip a coffee while on board and feel like a lifelong Vancouverite. Utilitarian, too... West Enders can easily get to Granville Island market! Really great!

Great way to get to Granville Island when walking from Downtown (at end of Horby Street). Has other stops at other locations.

Staying in Granville Island & Fairview

Neighbourhood Profile
Granville Island & Fairview
One of the favoured neighbourhoods for a day out, Granville Island's packed theatres and art studios, hobby shops and book stores, restaurants and bars, all offer a plethora of activities and entertainment options, leaving no one bored. The highlight of the area is the Fisherman's Wharf, where the seagulls overhead and the smell of the sea invigorate its many visitors, some of who are there to shop the fresh wares at the public market, and others of whom have arrived to take in the eclectic atmosphere. A popular seafood destination, and Vancouver's leading spot for improv and amateur theatre, Granville Island is an indulgent, welcoming entertainment centre in any season or time of day.
