We walked from Prospect Point, passed the hollow tree, along the shores of Eglish Bay and Second Beaches to English Bay Beach. It was very enjoyable.

I was told by the local guide that there are people who remove and replace these logs everyday. Great view and a nice place to chill at.

This is one of my favourite place in Vancouver. Last time around we rented stand-up paddle boards and had a really good time on the bay. The water was warm and swimming and throwing a frisbee in the water was sheer pleasure. Lots of restaurants...More

It is a good place to come and relax in front of the sea. There were many people but no one of them was screaming or disturbing the quiet of the other people. You can also try a bath in the sea, good for a...More

A popular beach in part because it's great location for seeing the sun set. The beach self is nice and within walking distance of great bars and restaurants. Or pack a picnic and make a day of it.

We stayed at a nearby hotel and after eating we walked around English Bay which is a popular pastime, weather was warm and made it a pleasure to walk. Lots of tankers in the bay and other boats.

Very popular beach - good place to watch the sunsets and not far from a number of good restaurants and bars. Public toilets and kayak, paddleboiard hire there as well.

There is a pathway along English Bay downtown that goes all the way from Stanley Park around the bay to Granville Island and the further, I think it might go all the way out to UBC, I've walked and ridden a bike there on many...More

Beautiful scenery and beautiful weather made our visit an enjoyable one. To just sit on a bench and take in the surroundings make a most relaxing day out.

West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines
verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with
Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a
paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and
perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most
languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset
Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to
take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along
