We chose to visit the Aquarium on our last day and we didn't budget enough time to view all the exhibits; however my wife did get to see the Sea Otters so she was very happy. Despite the aquarium seeming to be a small place...More

I love this aquarium so much!! It's inside Stanley Park, so plan to spend the whole day at the park, inside the aquarium and walking around the seawall. I've been to the aquarium twice and still haven't seen all the exhibits or shows. I think...More

If you have a child or many children....this is the place to take them to really enjoy themselves and actually learn something at the same time. How many destinations can you say that about?!? It never gets old no matter how many times we attend....More

This is a great place to bring the kids. It may not be the fanciest aquarium, but it is well organized with good staff and lots of fun things to see and do.

Stanley Park
Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up
close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy
expanse offers outdoor teahouses and stunning views,
beachfront hideaways and splash parks. It is a typical
getaway spot for friends and families, especially as
it is home to Vancouver's aquarium, and some of its
best equestrian outlets.

Thanks for your replies. I think we'll drive to the Aquarium this time and save the sea bus/city bus adventure until he is older and I don't have so many things to carry.

Very small aquarium, and sadly the beluga whales which were the main attraction have passed away.
