Nice aquarium with some cool distinct exhibits. The jellyfish and manta rays are a must see. The aquarium can be visited in a couple hours, can be crowded, pre-purchase your tickets to use the express lane. If you are planning a half day in Stanley...More

I love dolphins. So naturally, when even though I went on a whale watching tour I didn't get to see any, I was drawn to the aquarium. I wasn't disappointed. Not only did I get to meet Chester (the false killer whale) and Helen (the...More

This is s great place to stop and watch the marvels of nature on s small scale. Fun for the whole family. Even the 3 month old baby was fascinated by the jellyfish.

Walking along the shore path to the aquarium in the park is part of the experience; the setting for the aquarium is a refreshing different from other urban aquaria. There is a lot to see so I recommend taking your time and coming early as...More

We were really impressed with the aquarium. The jellyfish were so amazing to see and loved the shows they offered. This was a great activity to do on a rainy afternoon in May.

Stanley Park
Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up
close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy
expanse offers outdoor teahouses and stunning views,
beachfront hideaways and splash parks. It is a typical
getaway spot for friends and families, especially as
it is home to Vancouver's aquarium, and some of its
best equestrian outlets.

Thanks for your replies. I think we'll drive to the Aquarium this time and save the sea bus/city bus adventure until he is older and I don't have so many things to carry.
