We walked along the water front which is normally busy with Christmas shoppers, however not today! COVID quiet waiting for the 2021 to turn thing around!

It was really quite on nice hot August summer day because of COVID-19. No cruise ships and no attraction. But nice to visit there if you are visiting Vancouver

There didn't seem to be much to do here but it was nice to wonder around and take in the scenery on offer, mostly of the water and mountains to the north. The area was clean and it wasn't busy at all (although it was winter). We didn't ride the Flyover so I can't comment on that, however it did look cool.

Fly over Canada at Canada Place is a must-do - in fact we've gone on each of our three visits to Vancouver, usually more than once. The intro before going on the 'flight' needs updating, but it's still a fantastic experience. Highly recommend it.

Whenever we go to Vancouver, we take some time to visit Canada Place, even if we are not embarking on an ocean liner on that trip. It is very easy to reach via the Skytrain, Vancouver's elevated and underground subway system. When last we visited, there were four ocean liners tied up; typically there are two, so that was exciting. Walk a little to the west, and you'll see the amphibians taking off and landing, flying passengers elsewhere in British Columbia with single engine floatplanes. Nearby is the Seabus, which will take you across the harbor to Lonsdale Quay Market, a shopping area featuring fresh seafood, and which also has a Cob's Bread location. Added to that, you can watch the freighters in the harbor. So even if you are not embarking on an ocean liner, Canada Place is a fun place to visit.
