I love visiting libraries wherever I travel. This is an amazing example of how to integrate the library into the bustling centre of a city.

Stopped by on a walking tour of town. Unique architecture makes the building a must see. We were out of town visitors, so we just passed through.

The architect took an inspiration in roman Colosseum and it turned out very nice. There are several levels with lots of nooks and crannies, where people can sit with the book, or study.

The architectural design of the Library is very interesting. You are drawn in to the pages of an open scroll. Worth a visit.

With my wife being a librarian, we made it a point to visit this massive downtown library. The architecture is unique and noteworthy. A nice calm in the middle of downtown. Definitely worth a visit if you're close.

Large, if not massive main library of Vancouver. Great selection of books, CD’s, DVD, and other library type of material. (Newspapers / magazines / historical docs) study rooms, conference rooms, computers to browse the internet. Washrooms.
