I don't know if I would feel comfortable swimming here, with all the tankers coming in and out of the inlet, but it's definitely a gorgeous place to hang out and have a picnic while enjoying the picturesque view.
After Second Beach you walk around on the sea wall to Third Beach! If you are biking from the English Bay side, you need to use the bike path inland since the bike path is one way from Second Beach. It is a sandy stretch...More
We decided to hit this beach up because we heard it was nice and quiet, and it was! Beautiful atmosphere and so peaceful. We got brave and tried to climb some rocks out into the water and slipped quite a bit. I've got the scrapes...More
A fabulous beach and surroundings that are somewhat quieter than the other beaches in Stanley Park because it is on the far west side. Spectacular views at any time of day. Don't miss this feast for the eyes and soul. Excellent for singles, couples or...More
Located at the Northern end of Stanley Park, this beach has a terrific view of this coast from West Vancouver and, behind, the Coast Mountains, across the water to Downtown's West End, The Burrard Bridge to the Kitsilano shores, the Planetarium and the Point Grey...More
Decent beach. Food is available in a concession stand right up above the beach for reasonable prices. Lifeguards were on duty when we visited. The view is great, there was a bit of seaweed, but not too much. Swimming was nice in the August sun.
Take your rollerskates, a blanked and a pick pick! Skate around Stanley Park and spend the rest of the day at the beach. Sometimes it's pretty packed but in general a gret spot to chill. You can drive close to the beach if you want...More
Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy expanse offers outdoor teahouses and stunning views, beachfront hideaways and splash parks. It is a typical getaway spot for friends and families, especially as it is home to Vancouver's aquarium, and some of its best equestrian outlets.
