Beautiful place to enjoy the beach and ocean with the forest as a back drop. If you're patient, you should be able to find parking, but you might end up walking a bit. Vancouver has a pretty good transit system, so if you don't like...More
I've been coming here since I was a child and nothing's changed. The most peaceful beach around Stanley Park and English Bay. Sometimes when the tide comes in you can body surf. Love the same original concession stand at the top of the hill

Third Beach has a great pool for kids, It also is the best place to watch the sunset. It's right along the seawall so you can walk to 3rd beach then turn around and get a beer ( or tea )at The Sylvia Hotel
Walk along the Seawall away from the city from English Bay and you'll come to 3rd beach in about ... 20 minutes, depending on how quickly you walk. It's hard to hurry on the walk with the sea to one side nad the park on...More
Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy expanse offers outdoor teahouses and stunning views, beachfront hideaways and splash parks. It is a typical getaway spot for friends and families, especially as it is home to Vancouver's aquarium, and some of its best equestrian outlets.
