We parked at Schooner Cove and then walked along the beach as far as we could go. There and back was a 3 hour brisk but meditative walk in the sunshine, with the sea spray on our faces. Bliss!

Great hike from rain forest to beach. Paths are all raised wooden walkways. Well maintained. Make sure you buy a park pass.

The seafood appetizers of 3 types of local oysters was deliscious! We both ordered the Crab legs with Caesar salad & we extremely satisfied! Well done Schooners!

We had only a couple of hours to explore on a recent visit to the area, and the Schooner Cove hike was perfect for us. The 1-km boardwalk trail is unique and a bit exhilarating, like walking through a jungle or rainforest. People with vertigo...More

We went as a group of photographers led by Aaron Dowling, an award winning photographer. The beach is very beautiful with plenty of rocks, small trees, mini islands and shrubs. You have walk about 10 minutes from the car park. When we were there there...More

This is an easy walk through rainforest to a beautiful beach. There is a car park just off Highway 4 next to a road leading to an Indian reservation. You can pay the parking and entry fee here and there are also rudimentary toilets. The...More

We visited this place at low tide and had a blast exploring the tidal pools. The cove is within walking distance of Long Beach. My only complaint was the boardwalk to walk in was in need of repair in a few places. We’ll definitely be...More

Beautiful boardwalk (with a few sketchy lose boards and steep bit so beware if you are infirm) to a lovely beach I . Go at low tide and you can explore and enchanting islet. Our favourite walk in Tofino!

One of the nicest trails to walk with kids, all boardwalk and enough steps to keep them entertained. Ends at the top of long beach, which is just magical. The rainforest is so special and this walk captures all of that.

The Schooner Cove trail is a beautiful, easy trail that leads to Schooner Cove. The trail itself is primarily on a wooden boardwalk so there is no need for crazy hiking gear or shoes. I passed lots of people wearing flip flops and they seemed...More
