Rainforest Trail has two routes, A & B, both of which fully engulf you in the temperate rainforest full of gigantic western red cedars and western hemlocks. Sparking a sensation of zen, you will be overcome with the nostalgia of your childhood memories, ready to make more.

Scan the upper canopy for birds, listen to the trickle of water and smell the life of this highly productive forest.

Trail A is located on the opposite side of the highway from the parking lot. Trail B starts from the parking lot.

This was an enjoyable walk among both some very old huge trees and young. I guess we are a little early in the season as half the trail was closed. Once section of our board walk was crushed, had a little difficulty crossing. This didn't damp our enjoyment though.. and even the rain held off until we were almost back... More

This trail takes you in and out along the shore, high up where the waves are crashing spectacularly into the rocks. You can walk any length of it.

We took this great walk through the forest on a Saturday morning in January--thinking that it may be busy and it wasn't! The sun was shining -- it was beautiful, relaxing and amazing!!

The rainforest trail consists of two loops on either side of the highway to Tofino. Decided to stop at the one of the left-hand side of the highway and had a really great relaxing walk. I imagine this is an overpopulated area in the summer, but it was empty when we stopped here in December. It was a bit icy... More

This trail was amazing and so beautiful and serene. We can't wait to go again. BC parks does a supurb job with the trails.

We were here during the cold days when there was a lot of ice on this trail. It made it quite fun but it could be dangerous. Still the nature there was beautifull and the trail was not that long.

We visited this trail at the beginning of January, and were blown away by the beautiful rainforest flora. It is a short and easy walk, about 2 km in total. I will say, however, that the entire walk is on a wooden boardwalk, which was a complete sheet of ice even though it was almost 40 degrees F outside and... More

On a rainy day we decided to take the rainforest trail. It's a short and easy trail, took us about an hour. We met an elderly couple, they didn't have trouble to make it. I can imagine to go there with kids.

What a great unique place. The Park Service should get all the parking dispensers working....we had to go to three different dispensers before finding one that worked.
